Summary:

The Facilities Coordinator supports safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations across assigned KFC and Taco Bell restaurant facilities. This role coordinates maintenance activity, monitors work orders, oversees technicians and service providers, supports facility projects, tracks expenses, and communicates priorities with operational and facility leaders. The Facilities Coordinator primarily supports the following Texas locations: San Antonio, San Marcos, New Braunfels, Lockhart, and Universal City.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate daily facility operations involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, waste management, repairs, and refurbishment needs.
• Manage the Corrigo dashboard and monitor overdue, emergency, quoted, and active work orders through timely completion or escalation.
• Meet regularly with Region Directors and Facility Managers to review completed work, current needs, upcoming priorities, and operational risks.
• Oversee technicians, vendors, contractors, and other service providers; provide direction, confirm work quality, and ensure timely follow-through.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance oversight while reinforcing company policies, safety expectations, and local regulatory requirements.
• Provide coverage for other facility managers or operating areas when assigned, including emergency calls and urgent facility needs.
• Coordinate maintenance and capital projects, review scopes and quotes, monitor progress, and ensure work meets specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Track expenses, support budget planning and forecasting, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide clear reporting to facility leadership.
• Conduct or coordinate inspections and support compliance with OSHA, company, and local safety standards.
• Evaluate facility performance and recommend practical operational improvements.
• Perform minor repairs when appropriate and arrange specialized service when work requires licensed or advanced technical expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Relevant experience coordinating multi-site facilities, maintenance operations, vendors, or service providers.
• Working knowledge of facility trades and the ability to determine when specialized support is required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between assigned locations.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls, changing priorities, and occasional extended or adjusted hours.
• Ability to safely access facility work areas, climb ladders, and perform minor repairs when needed.
• Facility operations, preventive maintenance, and work-order management.
• Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems.
• Vendor, contractor, project, budget, and expense coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, plumbing, and electrical plans.
• Corrigo or a comparable computerized maintenance management system.
• Leadership, organization, judgment, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time, and lift or move up to 15 lbs.

TRAVEL: Must be able to travel to assigned Texas locations. Although this position has a defined primary service area, the employee may be asked to support locations outside the assigned area for emergency calls, urgent facility matters, coverage, special projects, or other business needs. Additional travel and schedule flexibility may be required.
