About the Job:
We are seeking Finance Manager to play a critical role in financial oversight, investment governance, and value realization for Taco Bell's Digital & Technology (D&T) investment portfolio.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Funds Oversight, this individual will own the D&T financial management framework, including partnering on business case development, ROI measurement, platform P&L review, and other relevant analyses. The Manager will be responsible for translating complex financial data into insights that influence decisions and reporting to both internal and franchise committee forums.
This role requires strong financial acumen and the ability to operate in a fast-paced and often, ambiguous environment where investment decisions have meaningful enterprise and franchisee impact. The ideal candidate will be expected to move beyond reporting results to proactively identify opportunities, risks, and actions that improve business outcomes.
The Day-to-Day:
• Own and continuously improve financial models, business case templates, and other tools used to assess D&T initiatives, strategic value, and impact.
• Lead Finance partnership with Digital & Technology and cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate requests, pressure-test assumptions, identify risks, and align recommendations to business priorities.
• Develop and manage appropriate frameworks, which can include defining success metrics, establishing assumptions, and assessing value realization, in close partnership with other functions.
• Perform post-launch retrospectives to evaluate whether initiatives delivered expected financial and strategic value, detect causes of performance gaps, and recommend corrective actions or future investment implications.
• Influence cross-functional partners to define consistent metrics, establish ownership for data inputs, and improve the quality of investment decision-making.
• Assist in preparation of executive-ready materials for internal leadership meetings and external franchise discussions, so that business case performance, value realization and investment trade-offs can be clearly articulated.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses related to fund utilization and business performance, turning ambiguous questions into financial recommendations.
Is This You?
• Bachelor's degree, MBA a plus
• At least 8 years relevant work experience (e.g. Corporate Finance, Consulting, Investment Management), QSR / retail / multi-unit franchise industry experience a plus
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with ability to succinctly interpret data for leaders and business partners by translating financial data into meaningful insights
• High internal motivation and willingness to "do what it takes" to get the job done
• Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in financial analysis
• Ability to translate financial performance into actionable business insights
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication/presentation skills, with ability to partner well with other team members and ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
• Ownership mindset on work product - proactively go deeper on a problem vs. doing exactly what was assigned
• Proficient with PowerPoint and Excel
Work-Hard, Play-Hard:
• Hybrid work schedule (onsite expectation Tues, Wed, Thurs) and year-round flex day Friday
• Onsite childcare through Bright Horizons
• Onsite dining center and game room (yes, there is a Taco Bell inside the building)
• Onsite dry cleaning, laundry services, and carwash
• Onsite gym with fitness classes and personal trainer sessions
• Up to 4 weeks of vacation per year plus holidays and time off for volunteering
• Generous parental leave for all new parents and adoption assistance program
• 401(k) with a 6% matching contribution from Yum! Brands with immediate vesting
• Comprehensive medical & dental including prescription drug benefits and 100% preventive care
• Discounts, free food, swag and... honestly, too many good benefits to name
